The HN7000S modem is a self-hosted, stand-alone unit that provides an integrated broadband LAN solution to platforms running IP over Ethernet. |

The HN7000S is completely self-contained, requiring no external PC to host any functions. This allows Windows, Macintosh, UNIX, and Linux computers to connect to the same modem. | |

It provides one 10/100 Auto-sensing Ethernet port. The Ethernet port can be connected via a Cat5 (Ethernet) cable to a single computer...or to a wired/wireless router. The addition of a router allows you to connect multiple computers to the HN7000S. |

The Satellite In and Satellite Out connectors on the back of the modem are used for connecting the Receive and Transmit cables coming from the antenna. |

All the necessary software resides in the HN7000S modem...so there is no need to load software on your computer. | |

The software is automatically kept up-to-date by the Hughes Network Operations Center, so you don't have to worry about software upgrades. | |

One satellite is assigned for the life of your account. Not all HughesNet satellites cover the entire 48 states. Ask before you purchase. |
